The Bisley group of companies is one of the largest and most experienced independent suppliers of raw materials to the Aluminium Industry in Australia and New Zealand, South East Asia and the Middle East. The Company’s continued growth and success over the years is the culmination of a proactive approach, a close understanding and knowledge of the various processes employed by the smelters, and a readiness to propose new products and technologies which provide an economic advantage to our customers.

Our association with the Aluminium Industry in Australia and New Zealand can be traced to the earliest days of the industry in the mid 1950’s. John Bisley, the Founder of Bisley & Co., supplied the first cargo of Bauxite to an Alumina Refinery adjacent to Australia’s inaugural Primary Aluminium smelter at Bell Bay, Tasmania in 1955.  Enjoying a close working relationship with the Aluminium Industry from its earliest days, Bisley has expanded with it and now supplies a diverse range of raw materials for Aluminium Pot Rooms, Anode Production and Cast Houses.

A wide variety of products are supplied under long term contracts and on a spot basis as required by both Primary and Secondary Aluminium producers.  Deliveries and quantities vary from small volumes via strategically located warehouses in Australia and other Regional Centres, to container lots, break bulk and full bulk shipments.
