Welcome to the Bisley Refractory & Ceramics raw material web page. This Division of the Bisley group commenced operations in 1986. Our immediate focus was on the Australian market. During the early nineties we expanded our business into S.E. Asia using the Bisley offices in this region as a service platform. Today the Bisley R & C Division is one of the leading suppliers of raw materials for the manufacture of refractories and ceramics in Australia and abroad.
Our consistent objective has been to offer the market a broad range of key products from reputable manufacturers, supported by local stock. Our target is customer satisfaction through "just in time" deliveries of quality raw materials with conforming certificates of analysis.
REFRACTORY RAW MATERIALS
To the refractory industry, our supply programme ranges from alumino-silicates (fired clays, bauxites, etc.) to high specification products such as white and brown fused alumina, calcined and bubble alumina, silicon carbide, etc. For the manufacture of basic refractories, we supply fused and sintered MgO, calcined dolomite.
CERAMIC RAW MATERIALS
Our ceramic business includes the supply refined clays of various types, zircon based materials, feldspars, lithum based materials such as petalite for use in the glaze and body, diluting agents as an alternative to STPP, kiln furniture and ceramic rollers. Where required we arrange custom grinding to meet the specific requirements of our clients, including the production of micronized products.
Today the Bisley Group is a well established supplier of a wide range of quality products and raw materials for use in the production of refractories and ceramic ware on an international scale.
